HELPING LOCAL PEOPLE IN CRISIS - ABOUT EAST LOTHIAN FOODBANK
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. From Monday 9th December everyone referred to them will receive a food parcel and a jingle bag they can put aside for Christmas day.

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

What’s Needed? Below are some of the foods urgently needed:

· Christmas pudding

· Custard

· Mince pies

· Biscuits

· Chocolates / Selection pack

· Christmas savoury snacks

· Christmas crackers

· Chicken / Turkey (tinned)

· Potatoes (tinned or packet mash)

· Carrots (tinned)

· Sweetcorn (tinned)

· Peas (tinned)

· Gravy (packet)
